Anyone here a fan? I just got their first cd today and it's great. The singer's voice reminds me of Taime Downe.. very sleazy. I was reading today also on another board, that they were getting back together (but w/o Rich).. YAY!

I orginally bought the cd because I heard somewhere that the singer of Crystal Pistol was the singer of the Black Halos?? But i see that he's not and I'm not sure where that came from. Oh well.. the Black Halos cd rocks so it was a good thing that i picked it up. Now.. i wish i could get some Crystal Pistol material. Hazard posted a link to their website here before, and I love them!! I'm playing the clips over and over again... but they don't sell their cds on their website.

Here's some other info in respects to Crystal Pistol:

Mik (Singer) used to play in a band called Kiss Kiss N' Bang in the early 90's The Drummer for KKNB is now the Drummer for Pop Punkers GOB. The other members of CP used to be in a band called The Cartels which was a very Ramones influenced trash rock band who put out a CD on Tommy Floyds Outlaw Records. Before The Cartels years earlier, Todd Stevens who went on to sing with Grandma Moses and The McRackins sang in a band called Nemisis Gypsy which Brian (CP's) guitarist was in. It's like six degrees on separation...hehe..

You should have both albums. Their live shows are the best ones I ever have been!!And really great people.They also have a split with BUBBLE.

Yes, they're together again, they are playing here in Spain next Friday in a festival and soon touring in Europe, babes don't miss them even RICH is not anymore in the band...
